i dont understand how anyone can say the cracked inner guards are caused by a bullbar when it is mounted to the chassis not the body. I also was looking for a simple, strong and reliable 4wd. I think most dealers these days are well aware of the turbo issues, and will simply listen and make a judgement call. Aaron, Hi Aaron, I have found the best way to replicate the problem is to hold the gearbox in manual mode 1st gear, accelerate reasonably hard, then back off the throttle and let the vehicle slow down using mainly compression until gently using the brakes to come to a complete stop, once the vehicle stops---THUD! They only way they can decline warranty is if the transmission cooler caused an issue, which it wont if its correctly suited to the vehicle and recommended + fitted by a specialist. How wrong was I ?
